Em um comunicado divulgado pelo Sr. Chris Bowen, atual ministro federal do Departamento de Imigração e Cidadania Australiana ( DIAC-Department of Immigration and Citizenship ) , anunciou-se que o governo pretende introduzir uma nova tabela de preços para pedidos de visto a partir de Janeiro de 2012. Vistos Australianos Sob a nova tabela de preços, a qual o ministro australiano de imigração, diz que é projetado ” para garantir que os contribuintes do imposto de renda australiano não estarão mais subsidiando os pedidos de visto “. A intenção é de um aumento nas taxas de certos tipos de vistos para profissionais e empresariais entre 5 e 15 por cento. Isto podera resultar o custo no pedido do visto australiano para profissionais qualificados (dentro do ‘ GSM ‘) um aumento para mais de AU$3.400 (~R$6.330), e segundo nossas contas constituindo-se um aumento de mais de 24% em menos de um ano. O ministro afirma que as taxas atuais não cobrem os custos de processuais do visto, enquanto que o aumento previsto das taxas gerara cerca de AU$613 milhões (~R$1.1 bilhão) em receita ao longo dos próximos quatro anos. O ministro também anunciou planos de cobrar uma taxa extra sobre serviços opcionais, tais como selos de vistos no passaporte, e no envio ao DIAC da documentação em papel, se existirem meios para fazer eletronicamente. E se você possui uma família numerosa é bom apressar-se, já que o ministro pretende introduzir uma taxa extra para os dependentes dos solicitantes de visto a partir de julho de 2013. Se você pretende vir a Austrália como turista a boa noticia é que a maioria dos vistos de turismo não deverão ser afetados com o aumento acima, e também não haverá nenhuma mudança para os vistos humanitários. Portanto seja qual for o tipo de visto australiano que estiver obtendo recomendo que sempre procure uma orientação imigratória profissional ou consular, sabendo-se que a profissional não vai lhe custar nem mesmo 5% do que já esta investindo mas o potencial da economia a ser feita é 100% ou mais. Pense nisto! E para o seu primeiro passo eu recomendo que você inicialmente descubra se é elegível ou não a obtenção dos direitos trabalhistas na Austrália. Pois de nada adiantara todo o seu esforço de achar uma vaga de emprego, para posteriormente ter o seu pedido de visto de entrada e permanência, mesmo que temporária, negado pelas autoridades imigratórias australianas. Nunca se esqueça que o governo australiano impõe controles rígidos para quem solicita autorização de entrar no pais.
